The Prairie Walker pediatric gait trainer is designed for more adventurous individuals who want to explore. The ability to venture outdoors independently provides many benefits for the user, both in terms of education and self esteem.

Available in two sizes, each model is fitted with 4 large castor wheels with puncture proof tyres to allow movement over broken surfaces. Dynamic control is provided by directional locks and brakes on all four wheels which assist the user to walk a planned course.

The Prairie Walker pediatric gait trainer has several key postural support features. An adjustable height saddle provides support when legs get tired or a rest is needed. The 'In-Line' Trunk support system with curved swingaway lateral thoracic supports literally hugs the user giving security and support to concentrate on the main task of getting from A to B. In addition a forearm support provides upper body control and sacral support pad helps maintain a good posture.
